There’s too much information on the Internet
It’s getting difficult to know how to sift through it
So I try to educate myself
But I don’t know if it really helps
Cause there’s every point of view
And they’re written like they’re true
So now I’m just totally confused

Confirmation bias at every turn
Makes me wonder if I really learned
I learned you don’t need a degree
To claim you have expertise
You don’t have to make sense
Or provide evidence
Because there’s no consequence

I think I need to take a break from the internet
Maybe go out to dinner with some friends
But I’m not sure where to dine
So I’ll take a quick look online
But there’s too many reviews
And I don’t know what to choose
So now I’m just totally confused
I’m running out of time
And I’m gonna lose my mind
I guess I’ll let someone else decide

Don’t get me wrong I like information,
And unlimited movies and songs
It’s just not cool to be mean
When you hide behind screens
And claim you’re never wrong
